RPM Hydraulics & Pneumatics is a services oriented company, specializing in sales, on-site services, repairs, fabrication, design, system flushing, maintenance, upgrades, and much more.
Our in-house rebuild facility assures quality repair work backed by full testing on our 250 HP diesel driven test bench. Our mobile service unit is fully equipped for on-site troubleshooting and repair. Mobile services also include field fabrication and flushing of hydraulic piping and hoses for industrial installations. Our oil service equipment includes laser contamination monitors, hot oil flushing units, and vacuum dehydrators to ensure fluids and systems are completely flushed to remove contamination and moisture.
COMPONENT & SYSTEM SALES
RPM offers a wide range of both hydraulic and pneumatic products. All orders, quotes, and back orders are kept in a computerized order system, so at a keystroke we can tell what the status of any order is.
FULL REPAIR & TEST FACILITY
We offer repairs to all makes of hydraulic components, rebuilt to manufacturers’ specifications and standards. In addition, all rebuilt at RPM are tested using our 250 horsepower diesel driven test bench, to ensure they are within factory specifications. Our test bench is equipped with the latest technology to detect pressure spikes caused by malfunctioning valves and controls. All test results are kept on file and are readily available upon our clients’ requests.
HOSE & TUBING FABRICATION
Custom tube installation is available at RPM. Utilizing the Parker 424 model and hydraulic 632 model tube benders, we can offer custom tube bending from 1/4″ to 2″ diameters. We also supply and install pickled and oiled black iron pipe, schedule 40 and 80. Pipe may be custom bent and joined, using high pressure companion flanges.
MOBILE SERVICE
Fully equipped service truck with large inventory specialized equipment for troubleshooting of complex systems. It is fully stocked with hose and fittings, for field installations.
SYSTEM DESIGN & UPGRADES
Here at RPM, we design and manufacture both small and large hydraulic power units. We also manufacture air and hydraulic cylinders to meet your specific needs. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Preventative Maintenance is key to reliable operation of hydraulic systems. RPM provides preventative maintenance services to several clients on an annual basis. Maintenance services include draining and cleaning of reservoirs and heat exchangers as well as replacement of all filters and inspection of piping, fittings and pump drive couplings. Hydraulic fluid is either purified or replaced based on results obtained using our portable fluid contamination monitor. A detailed report is provided outlining services completed and future action required if any.
SYSTEM FLUSHING SERVICES
Whether you are installing a new system, or have had a catastrophic failure, we offer turbulent hot oil flushing with filtering to three micron absolute; to insure a clean system, and a trouble free start-up. We have three flushing units with a total flow capacity of 250 gallons per minute.
Flushing of newly installed piping prior to system start up is of critical importance to ensure trouble free operation of critical components such as proportional and servo valves. Piping is looped around components and flushed in one continuous circuit until acceptable cleanliness levels are achieved.
Flushing of contaminated systems after a critical failure or ingression of water is as important as initial flushing of piping. During a severe component failure or water ingression, contaminated fluid spreads over entire circuits and create potential for further damage to newly replaced components.
CONTAMINATION MONITORING
RPM has two portable in-line contamination monitors that measure and display particulate contamination, moisture and temperature levels in various fluid medias. It is designed specifically to be mounted directly to systems, where ongoing measurement or analysis is required.
OIL PURIFICATION & DEHYDRATION
RPM has a fleet of 4 Pall Fluid Purifier designed for removal of water, gases, solvents and particulates from oils used for Hydraulic and Lubrication Fluids. Fluid purifiers are widely used in pulp & paper and power generation facilities where water occasionally enters the hydraulic and lube oil reservoirs due to mechanical problems. Purifying fluids reduce system wear, improve system performance, extend fluid life, and reduce fluid disposal costs.
